The body of the Inova XO is made of anodized aluminum with flat facets machined in the sides. The body finish is available in silver. The bezel is stainless steel with a recessed anti-reflective coated lens. Behind the lens is a special optical system designed to collect over 90% of the light produced by the LED and project it forward. The LED and lens combination produce a very round beam with a dim sidespill. Inside the XO is a flat regulation circuit designed to give constant output for about 4 hours from two 123A lithium batteries. The switch is a "tactical style" switch. Press for momentary light, tighten for constant on, loosen to disable the switch for travel and packing. The tailcap is also reverse checkered for grip, and has a hole for lanyard attachment.
Delivers 32 lumen for four hours from a 1-watt LED.
Uses two 3-volt lithium batteries.
